On iPad 4 the animations are so fast that you can Not See anything and so it Works like a normal Chess Programm without graphikal Komfort

Brutal...... Slow moving, glitches and crashes not even worth the 10 sec download time...

This ApP is relatively new, so Im SURE that there will be updates. Yes it IS VERY SLOW AND VERY CHOPPY AND VERY GLITCHY, but the concept is sound. A good add on would also be iPod access, and it would be great if you could zoom in and out of the board as well as being able to spin it. Just fix it already huh

The fighting is stupid as all they do is repeat the same movements and make the same dying sound so I suggest checking "quick move" to get rid of it. The morphing for moving is cool. They need more selection in music. Once the computer kept putting me in check with the same two moves back to back to Back to back and didnt even try to checkmate with another piece! I wanted to punch the computer (if that were possible) because in real life chess you cannot just make the same two moves over and over again or the game will go nowhere! The game froze once as well.

Its is an ok game but it is way to slow and it takes way too Long too kill an opponent

The game is very slow and its hard to play. There really isnt any "battle" in the game

I love to play chess all the time. I was hoping this game was like the one I use to play on my PC. Where the characters became large and fought to the bloody death for the position But for this game I need a magna-fine glass. The characters are smaller than the keys on my keyboard. How do I get a refund. Im very disappointed and hope you read all the complaints prior to your purchase.

This game wants to be cool, but the character graphics are horrible and the animated battle scenes are choppy, to the point where you cant even tell whats going on, if anything. Chess pieces sometimes dont fully morph, so you end up with half human chess pieces. The main draw of this game is the animated battles, yet its the worst part of this game. Needs more work! WarChess is way better than this game and its free, just get that instead.

Game crashes before can even play

Not one thing works on this game works! Are you kidding me! This is fraud at this point. Seriously! I want my money back.

Gimmie back my cash. Cant even play on my iPad. Too bad it looks cool.

I only tested it for a short while on my ipod, but can definitely see a big improvement in this app for iphones and ipods. Movements are now smooth, response times are MUCH faster. I can now see the entire chess piece battles! Definite rate up. Not sure about rating it 5 star yet, but I may come back and change my review once Ive sat down and played it for a longer period of time. Heres hoping it doesnt crash when playing for extended periods of time. :)

I havent seen any issues with freezing or choppy motion, enjoy the overhead view better and looking forward to updates. Always loved my long gone battle chess game from 20 years ago and Ill be happy when it gets produced on here... Hope thats where youre going with this and all those who think about getting this app... Go for it, the friend play is cool.

This is the first app that has AI, 2 player, Bluetooth and Internet play all in one game. The graphics is pixel perfect and the animations is smooth and in line with the famous battle chess. Go for it, I can recommend this app.

What a rip off! Not even worth the $.99!!!

Poor design and choppy animations (even on the 4S) combine to ruin this game. Anything above free is too expensive. I bought this while looking for my old favorite battle chess. It does not compare.

Only buy if your a chess master. Even easy is unbeatable!! SO NOT WORTH IT for the casual player!!!!!! Youve been warned
