Very choppy graphics and hard to control. More frustrating than cool.

Cool animation but there are too many instances of allowing incorrect moves and ghost pieces. If you enjoy playing chess, you will find yourself frustrated at the issues mentioned above. Bought this today, and would really just like my money back. Only played a handful of games.

Hey guys this app is broken going against the computer makes two moves within its turn and for some reason the computer gives itself two Queens. Bought this app for my child so he may learn how to play chess but at this time its definitely not a teaching tool.

This game is so amazing. It takes you into a battle, all the pieces turn into some really sick people my fav is the queen she is a strong lady which is really awesome for women.

Awsome. This game is good except the fact that the animations are so freaking choppy! They just kind of "appear" in the spot u click. I recommend this app and am only giving it 5 stars because it would be cool if u would fix & update it. Update!!

Movements are slow and animation is poor.

Game has glitches. Pieces will move over each other. The computer will allow itself to en passant but will not allow you to. Game is geared for the computer to win.

I was hoping for something along the lines of the battle chess I had 15 years ago on my Macintosh. The fights are not as interesting, the animation is slow and jerky, and the sword clashing sound quickly tires. There is also annoyance with the way moves are made. In the non-overhead view it can be difficult to select a player and select the square to which to move the piece. This application Is a start, but it needs more work.

Sorry this game has promise, but falls short on animation and ease of gameplay.

It could have been much better developed. I was only hoping for a 1980s battle chess. It look good but sadly the animation is slow jerky and lack definition. The game play is not as easy especially on a 3D board which has fix camera angle. With graphic power and processing power of the iPhone5. I have expected something as good as or better then battle chess made in the 80s to run on 286 machine.

Animations are clunky. Wanted something more smooth and with different animations (these are all the same per piece). I had a 3D Chess game on the PC called Battle Chess years ago. Looking for that.

Crap choppy and no attack motions

Looking for a "battle chess" style game that would be fun for the kids. I downloaded the $0.99 app for an iPhone 4S and the screen is just to0 small, the action too choppy (even on my home wi-fi connection, if that mattered). I paid another $0.99 to download the app to my wifes laptop, though not supported for that format. Much better on a bigger, actions smoother, and overhead view worked great. HOWEVER, the bottom buttons were unusable, as they were blocked by the dock and the game screen was not adjustable. Though we dont have an iPad, I believe this version is best suited for that screen size and processor options. Keep up the great work!

Terrible choppy s.l.o.o.o.o.o.w graphics. Pieces turn into the same animation for every move. Knights turn into pawns. Couldnt you at least have added a horse sound? Didnt always move where I pointed. I didnt even finish the first game I got so frustrated. Want my money back.

I too, miss battle chess from the eighties... It was amazing!

I purchased this app hoping for the 3D battle chess it advertises and all I got was a 3D chess board. I had battle chess for the PC ages ago, when the castle would eat the queen and stomp on pawns.., so cool. Not at all in this app. Very disappointed.

The fights between pieces got old B4 the end of game one. Deleted

Love the game but the action takes a bit too long. Would be great if the game were to move along faster instead of waiting for one opponent to defeat the other. Also is there a way to rotate the board view to see some of the pieces more clearly when being played?

Not as exciting as I was hoping for I want a refund :(
